Church "St. Petka Samardjiiska"
The church is located in the city center and is one of the few preserved churches dating from the 9th century. Under it was discovered a Roman tomb dating from the 4th century. In the church, several mural layers were found and the earliest layer was from 14th century. The church is dedicated to Saint Martyr Paraskeva - Petka Ikoniyska (Tarnovska). Also called "St. Petka Samardjiiska."
